Most patients present with ‘flabby upper arms’ as a result of significant weight loss through diet and exercise or after having bariatric surgery. An Arm Lift involves removal of excess fat and loose skin from the upper arms to obtain a tighter,
slimmer, and more proportionate appearance.
Thigh skin and soft tissue can sag because of many factors including aging, weight gain/loss, sun exposure, and genetics. As a result of this loss of skin elasticity, the thighs skin may become loose, wrinkled, or rub together. The inner thighs are most commonly involved.A Thigh Lift can correct this problem and make the thighs look smoother, shapelier and more proportionate.
This is accomplished through a combination of Liposuction and skin removal.
Blepharoplasty is the procedure that can help to improve the overall appearance and reverse the signs of aging in the eyelids. Whether you want to improve your appearance or are experiencing functional problems with your eyelids, blepharoplasty can rejuvenate the area surrounding your eyes treating such concerns as loose or sagging skin, fatty deposits, bags under the eyes, and drooping lids.
By placing a breast implant (silicone or saline) underneath the soft tissues of the chest, your breast shape can be improved and volume enhanced to improve projection, fullness and the overall balance with your figure. The type, shape, and size of the implant, along with the surgical approach, are all vital parts of this procedure. The best approach for you will be determined during your consultation based on
Dr. Ahmadzadeh’s examination and your personal preferences.
Breast Lift or Mastopexy, is a very popular procedure to correct drooping or sagging breasts, also known as breast ptosis. There a number of different approaches to Mastopexy; Dr. Ahmadzadeh will help you to determine the best approach for you. Mastopexy corrects raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue, and reducing and/or repositioning the areola. The result is an improved shape, contour and nipple position.
The forehead area shows the signs of aging by forming horizontal wrinkle lines across the brow, on the bridge of the nose and between the eyes. The eyebrows begin to droop contributing to the appearance of excess skin over the eyelids or “hooding”. A Brow Lift, or Forehead Lift, can help correct these signs of aging. There are a number of different ways to perform a Brow Lift.
Protruding or overly large ears result from anatomical variations in the ear cartilage development. Many patients with protruding or large ears find their ears to be unattractive and are self-conscious of their appearance. Ear Pinning, or Otoplasty, improves the shape, position and proportion of the ear itself, as well as bringing proportion and balance to the ears and face.
Even small corrections can have profound improvements.
A Facelift does not change your fundamental appearance and
cannot stop the aging process.
The main difference between a Mini and traditional Facelift is that the
Mini Facelift does not address the neck.
A Mini Facelift works best for patients who do not have significant aging of their neck but will enjoy rejuvenation of the face. This is achieved by elevating the jowls and elevating the descended cheek fat.
Gynecomastia is a benign enlargement of the male breast, caused by excessive glandular tissue formation. It usually involves both breasts. Some men may also have fatty tissue accumulation (Lipomastia), which is a separate entity.
Patients are often embarrassed by their breast appearance and may seek
corrective surgery.
Depending on the severity and cause, the procedure will involve removal of excess glandular tissue, fat, and skin as needed. The result is reduced breast size, flattening and enhancement of the chest contour and shape.
Liposuction, also known as Lipoplasty, is one of the most popular and requested cosmetic surgery procedures. Fatty tissue is removed through tiny incisions, resulting in smoother body contours and with only moderate down time. Areas amenable to Liposuction include thighs, abdomen, flanks, back, and arms.
If, despite diet and exercise, you still have areas of unwanted fat, you may be a candidate for Liposuction.
It is important to note that liposuction is not a weight loss procedure.
Nipple inversion surgery aims to correct the lack of nipple protrusion. Inverted nipples result from short milk ducts, which cause the nipples to be ‘pulled in’ instead of protruding from the breast mound.
The procedure involves releasing the short ducts, through a small incision, and therefore correcting the appearance of inverted nipples.
Rhinoplasty, often referred to as a ‘nose job’, is a procedure that can help improve the appearance of the nose and as well as balance facial proportions. Rhinoplasty can also be used to correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the nose. Many nasal deformities can be improved or corrected with this procedure. It involves a combination of reshaping the bone, cartilage, and soft tissue to achieve these goals.
A flat and well-toned abdomen is something many of us strive for through exercise and weight control. Sometimes these methods cannot achieve our goals.
Abdominal appearance can change as a result of excess skin, fat, and lax
abdominal muscles, the most common causes being pregnancy, heredity,
previous surgery and weight gain or weight loss.
A “Tummy Tuck” or Abdominoplasty removes excess skin and fat and restores weakened or separated muscles, resulting in a smoother, tighter, and a
thinner abdominal profile.
A tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program.
A “Mini Tummy Tuck” is an alternative when a full Abdominoplasty is not needed. Like a full Abdominoplasty, a “Mini Tummy Tuck” does address muscle laxity, excess fat, and excess skin; the area of concern is smaller and mostly below the navel.
